Well anything’s possible. It can get really messy. If either person starts feeling more and the other doesn’t, that’s bad. And in all likely-hood, it will get awkward. Just watch No Strings Attached or Friends With Benefits. They always end great, with the couples falling in love, but in reality it rarely ends well.
Basically, it can be fun, but you have to be sure that you and the friend are on the same page. And even then, it won’t last forever.
